1967 Camaro the first year of Chevy’s most popular muscle car.
The 67 Camaro was introduced in September 1966 for the 1967 model year on a brand new RWD F-body platform.
It was availble as a 2 door, 2+2 seat,coupe or convertible. They came with a choice of six cylinder or V8 enigines under the hood for power.
The 67 Camaro when introduced had some mechanicals with the 1968 Chevy II Nova. There was almost 80 factory and 40 dealer options, including three main packages on the first year of the Camaro.
RS Package: This appearance package came with hidden headlights, revised taillights, RS badging, wing windows and rocker trim.
SS Package: This package came with a 350 cubic inch 5.7 liter, non-functional air inlets on the hood, special racing stripes,and SS badging on the grille, front fenders,gas cap,and horn button. There was an optional 396 Cubic inch 6.5 liter big block as well.
It was possible to order both the RS and SS on car to produce a RS/SS Camaro. 
Z/28: The Z/28 option code required front disc brakes and Munice 4-speed transmission. It came with a modified with a 4.9 Liter small block V-8 pushing 360 horsepower (all though GM rated it at 290hp) with a single barrel car and 400 hp with a 4 barrel. It also had upgraded suspension, racing stripes down the hood and trunk lid, 302 on the fenders.
There where only 602 z/28 sold in 1967 along with 100 replica pace cars.

Now that I have it I just wanted to let everyone know two things. First of all this weekend (starting today) is Dave and Ed’s Super Auto Event in Canfield ,Ohio. This is one of the Midwest’s biggest swap meet and car show. This is the perfect time to find those parts that you need to finish up that summer project. Friday and Saturday the gates open up at 8am est and close at 5pm est. And on Sunday the gates open at 8am and close at 3pm est. On Sunday the car show starts at 10am est and ends at 3pm est.

Dave and Ed’s Super Event is Canfield’s oldest meet for HotRodders, Musclecars & Classics. The Canfield Swap meet has indoor(limited) and outdoor spaces available. Gates for the swap meet open to the public Fri/Sat/Sun @ 8am.

It’s time for the 3rd annual Gathering of the Geezers at KilKare Dragway in Xenia, Ohio!
This year’s event will be held on August 14th and the gates open at 8am.
Its’ $20 to Drag,swap, or show that classic! $15 to just come and check out all the action and sweet ride. and if you under 12 then you get in for free!
What a way to spend the day watching some classics race down the dragway and checking out the sweet show cars.
